We present the world's first watch made from recycled coffee. When it comes to sustainable living, the Coffee Watch is a true innovation, featuring a case made of used grounds from Berlin cafés and roasting houses, transformed into an extremely durable material through a complex upcycling process. The shapes, colors, texture, and even a subtle aroma reveal what the watch is made of – and it's completely carbon-neutral to boot. All these things make it a genuinely loving tribute to the greatest of all hot drinks!
THE PERFECT SHAPE
Made of recycled coffee grounds, the watch case is reminiscent of a coffee bean or a coffee cup, depending on how you look at it. The especially round, minimalist appearance of the watch was created using a special trick: the crown is completely recessed into the case back. The pure, straightforward design philosophy is greatly enhanced by the clean, silvery sunburst pattern of the watch face and neatly engraved hour marks.

INNOVATIVE MATERIAL
We get the material used for the case from various cafés and roasting houses in Berlin. The coffee grounds are collected by bicycle couriers, then transformed using an incredibly innovative upcycling process developed by our partner, Kaffeeform. Only plant-based components are used in the process; as a result, the finished material is not only durable and retains its shape, but is also completely environmentally friendly and fully recyclable.
UNIQUE PIECES MADE FROM COFFEE
Even at first glance, it's immediately apparent what the case is made of: The natural coloring and fine texture of the coffee grounds are fully preserved. As a result, each watch features a slightly different grain pattern, making every individual Coffee Watch a one-of-a-kind timepiece! And the origin of the watch is not only visible, by the way – for a while even a subtle coffee scent remains.

RESULT OF A LENGTHY PROCESS
The story of the Coffee Watch begins with a coffee cup made from recycled coffee grounds and produced by Kaffeeform. It didn't take long before the idea of making a watch out of them was born, but that was easier said than done. The composition of the material had to be adapted to make it durable, comfortable to wear, and resistant to scratches. After three years of development, the world's first watch made out of coffee was quickly financed on Kickstarter, and now and can be owned by anyone.

In terms of sustainability, the Coffee Watch is a genuinely innovative product, having taken an apparently worthless resource and transformed it into a high-quality material with added emotional value. In addition, we compensate 100% of our CO2 emissions by donating to a carbon fund. Working with ClimatePartner, we thus support projects that work towards positive global climate change.
STRONG STEEL, SMOOTH FEEL
The strap is made from interwoven strands of 316L surgical stainless steel finished in a way that’s extremely robust, anti-allergenic and never rusts. Length can be adjusted for an optimal fit. And if you feel it's time for a new look, the strap can be changed easily thanks to the quick-release mechanism.
